Dead River

With 16 miles of continuous whitewater and lots of surf holes, the Dead River is set apart from the other rivers in Maine! The Dead River "High Water" releases is what everyone talks about!! There are only so many releases throughout the season - If you’re lucky enough to run one of these 'High Water' releases, you’re in for a treat. The rapids start out ‘BIG’ only to have the ‘BIGGEST’ rapids at the end of the day. This trip is both exhilarating and challenging for all rafters young or old. No experience is necessary! This rafting trip has a minimum age of 14 for the High water releases.
